Even though the online tutorials will be in either Spanish or Italian, the videos alone are worth "attending" this workshop with Dario. He is located in Barcelona, Spain so the online tutorials will be 9 hours ahead for PT, 8 hours ahead for (MT), 7 hours ahead for CT and 6 hours ahead for ET. The objective of the workshop is to continue with the study of some of the fundamental elements in the design and construction of folded structures, specifically its primary geometric component: the module.

A tour through concepts and exercises that are transversal to the paper folding processes that will allow participants not only to understand how these types of structures are created and how they work, but will also provide them with the skills to recreate them and even be able to explore in the creation of new folded structures. A workshop to discover secrets in creating with paper.

It includes:

• 14 videos (between 3 and 12 minutes) with more than 15 exercises and more than 80 diagrams
• A Teaching Guide (PDF)
• One and a half hour long online tutoring

Work methodology

The workshops are structured in two phases:

1st.- Individual preparation:

Composed of video classes that describe step by step each of the exercises to be carried out and that will guide the learning process. These exercises aim to develop manual material management skills in the creation of folds and to understand how the process of transforming the sheet from its two-dimensional to three-dimensional state works.

The videos will be accompanied by a document (PDF) proposed exercises that must be done before participating in the online Tutoring. This phase will begin once the participant has registered for the course. A minimum of 7 days is recommended for this preparation stage.

2nd.- Online tutoring:

An online tutoring session lasting an hour and a half on the Meet platform in small groups of five people. This tutorial is intended to follow "closely" the work developed during the preparation phase, clarify doubts, give advice and deepen in some aspects. The lesson will end with a short presentation on the use of folding structures
