Question: I have modify permission for the office calendar. But when my supervisor adds a meeting to the office sub-calendar and the multimedia team's calendar, I can't change any details for that event. What's going on?
A Teamup user (or calendar link) can have different permission levels assigned for each sub-calendar they can access.
For example, Marco could have access to four sub-calendars, with the permissions set separately for each one:
When you create an event, you can assign it to one or multiple sub-calendars.
So, a supervisor who has modify permission to all four sub-calendars can create an event and put it on all four sub-calendars.
The supervisor will be able to edit this one-to-many event because they have modify access to all the sub-calendars. But for someone with different permission levels, like Marco, the event will be locked.
Marco's permission level for the event will default to the lowest permission level of any assigned sub-calendar.
The event title will have a padlock icon, and when Marco opens the event he will see the event viewer rather than the event editor:
