The AMRIT project brings together three European research infrastructures (EuroArgo, ICOS, EMSO), proto-RIs such as GROOM and Euro GO-Ship, and WMO OceanOps to co-develop the next iteration of the WMO notification centre. AMRIT will follow development approaches developed by the open science community with a scope spanning open source code, a community software development platform, API and metadata standard, and observation network management & planning. The goals of the AMRIT project align closely with the observing networks and broader ocean observing community. The use of best practices with the AMRIT project will be critical to ensure alignment with the global community and the long-term sustainability of project outcomes
To enable the development and adoption of best practices within AMRIT, collaboration with the oceanographic and OBPS communities is key. In this session we will explore collaboration opportunities between the AMRIT and OBPS communities. The resulting opportunities will form the basis of a collaboration agreement between AMRIT and the OBPS acting as the basis for collaboration over the next 3 years.
