Instructor and bio: Cheri Aldrich is donating her time and instructor fees for these two workshops. “I have a great fondness for this festival. I have been involved as a participant, an instructor, and for many years as a coordinator or consultant. It’s been a joy to watch it grow into a popular much-loved annual event,” Aldrich says. “The energy from this event inspires many to make art. By doing some fundraising, we will be able to expand our budget allowing us to add a fourth day to the 2020 festival.”
Special thanks to Cheri Aldrich for her time, donation and dedication to the Newport Paper & Book Arts Festival. Other festival supporters and participants will soon be provided with opportunities to become “Friends of the Festival,” lending their support to the project’s long-term sustainability.
