The Leadership Now Project is hosting a Women in Leadership series. The goal of this virtual series is to inspire and prepare women who are interested in serving as appointees in the Biden-Harris administration.
The third event in this series will be held on Thursday 1/28 at 5:00PM EST. The event will feature panelists who are among the most recognized and accomplished appointees from the Obama-Biden administration. Panelists include Gwen Keyes Flemming, Meghann Curtis, Ann Mei Chang, Liz Sears Smith, Janet Woodka, Adora Andy Jenkins, LaVita LeGrys, Ruchi Bhowmik, Shilpa Phadke, Nikki Buffa, Marion McFadden, and Barb Bennett and the event will be hosted by Pat McGinnis. We will discuss appointees named to the administration so far, the process for seeking a political appointment post-inauguration, and effective networking tools and tactics. The event will include breakout groups during which participants will have the opportunity to ask questions in a small group setting and expand their network of female leaders.
In keeping with Leadership Now's core principle that diversity is an asset, we believe strongly that the most effective government is one that is representative of the people it serves. Therefore, it is critical that there is a strong pipeline of female leaders prepared to serve in the incoming Biden-Harris administration. This series aims to prepare women with outstanding skills, dedication, and experience to serve as a political appointee. Register here.
