We are doing a 3 days of action campaign to honor the life of Renee Good, who was killed by an ICE officer in Minneapolis, and take a stand against the brutality ICE has been inflicting on communities around the country.

Our elected officials need to do more than just condemn the killing of Renee Nicole Good. Let’s make sure they understand their constituents care deeply about this issue and expect them to take action.

I’m calling to express my outrage that an ICE officer killed Renee Good in Minneapolis last week. I know that ________ has condemned this shooting, but we need action, not just condemnation. So, I am calling to ask ________ to:

1. Vote against H.R.4213, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act unless any increases in ICE funding have been removed and there are specific restrictions in place limiting DHS from shifting money between agencies (and)

2. Publicly call for an independent and transparent Congressional investigation into the killing of Renee Good and any other acts of violence committed by ICE against people in the U.S.
