The High-Level Africa Forum on Strengthening Cooperation to Enhance Terrorism Responses in Africa will showcase effective local, national, regional, and international responses to terrorism across the African continent, including terrorism prevention, criminal justice responses, and the handling of individuals formerly associated with terrorist groups. It will also take stock of current achievements and best practices, examine persisting challenges and ways to enhance African-led approaches with regional and international support. Participants will hear from panelists on successful partnerships that improved the prevention and countering of terrorism in Africa, learn how to adopt the best practices and reshape the responses to terrorism within a reinvigorated and robust multilateral system.
