About Michelle:
Michelle Startzman is a metalsmith and enamelist originally from Tucson, Arizona. She is currently living in Phoenix, Arizona, where she works as a studio artist and teacher. She received her MFA in Metals from Arizona State University in 2013 and her BA in Photography and Art History at The University of Arizona in 2005. Startzman’s photography background and interest in the nature of relationships has influenced her work, which includes close-up portraits obscured by layers and depth, and microscopic imagery. She is currently an art teacher at Mesa High School, where she teaches Jewelry and Painting. Previously, Startzman was an Artist in Residence and Instructor at Mesa Arts Center, and Adjunct Instructor in Metals at Central Arizona College, and has taught classes and workshops at Milkweed Arts, KP Studio, The Shemer Art Center and Harold Studio in Phoenix, AZ.

This event will be held @ the Cholla Phoenix Public Library, 2nd Floor Meeting Room.
Cholla Library is located on Metro Parkway (the inner loop of Metrocenter Mall) south of Peoria Avenue and west of the I-17 freeway. Visit Valley Metro for public transportation routes serving the library.
Parking and access is a piece of cake!
