Reserve your seat, (First Come First Served) open to the public, video presentation and guided Swamp Buggy Tour at 10 am but arrive early to park, check in, sign release forms, restroom break, gift shop purchase, tour butterfly garden, and rock on the porch.
Guided Trail Buggy tour to see native plants and common Florida ecosystems including pine flatwoods managed by prescribed fire and the Bull Creek Swamp in east Osceola County. Learn how “Doc” and Ms. Margaret Broussard honor their son Allen and educate visitors regarding Cracker Florida and ecosystem conservation and restoration. Ask how many native trees they have added since purchasing the land.
“Spend two fascinating hours exploring the historic Crescent J Ranch and the wild ecosystems of the Allen Broussard Conservancy's Forever Florida preserve on an adventure coach riding five feet above the ground. See the expanse of Forever Florida starting with the pastures of the Crescent J Ranch where you’ll learn about the rich history of Florida’s ranching roots, and view the herds of endangered breeds of Spanish Colonial cattle and horses. The tour continues to the adjoining Allen Broussard Wildlife Conservation Area, where guests will see native ecosystems, countless species of wildlife, and learn about the conservation efforts in place to keep Florida the wild and adventurous place it has always been.”
Start Time of Field Trip: 9:30 am (check-in is inside the reception center for the 10 am Trail Buggy Tour if you have a reservation. Rarely is their walk in availability.
End Time of Field Trip: 12 noon Purchase lunch at the Charolais Café and enjoy lunch inside or under outdoor covered pavilions. Forever Florida discourages bringing outside food.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING: Water, sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, closed toed shoes and proper clothing for the weather. “Forever Florida is a thrilling experience in the Florida wilderness unlike any other. It is important to dress the part. Long pants and closed-toed shoes are recommended for most adventures. You may even want to bring a spare just in case Bull Creek gets the best of you. All of the adventures available at Forever Florida take place outside. Light, breathable clothing and sunscreen are recommended, as are hats, sunglasses, and bug spray - you’re going to be in the thick of Florida after all, dress accordingly!”
