Using Teamup to schedule service jobs for field crew, installers, or contractors? You can enable field crew to upload photos and make notes about completed work on the calendar, too. Then all the documentation is attached to the job, accessible for both office staff and crew, and easy to find.
There are two ways for this to work, depending on what level of access the field crew has to the calendar.
If field workers are able to modify the events on the calendar, they can upload photos directly to the job event on the calendar.
Make sure the Attachments field is enabled; workers can upload photos to this field, and it's easy to swipe through and preview the photos on the Teamup app.
They can also use event comments to take notes and upload photos. Event comments are time-stamped.
If field workers have read-only access to the calendar, meaning they can't modify any events on the calendar, they can use event comments to make notes and upload photos.
When a member of the field crew adds a comment to an event, the event will sync automatically across devices so the comment is visible to office staff and others using the calendar, as well.
