Question: Is there a way to hide events from users while they are still in the planning stage, but still see the events on the calendar?
It's not possible to hide specific events from specific users, or to "hide" calendars for specific dates. However, you can use this method to have a private calendar for drafting and planning events:
2. Don't share these planning calendars with other users, or only share them with users who are also part of the event planning process.
3. As you create and plan events, add them to the planning calendars only. You can add all the details, upload attachments, add images, put them in the needed date/time slot, etc. Use the planning calendars side-by-side with the actual event calendars to avoid scheduling conflicts.
4. When all the event details are confirmed and you're ready to share the event with others, move the event to the actual event calendar(s) where they belong. This is easiest to do in the Scheduler View: See how to drag & drop events to a different calendar.
This method gives you a private/restricted "planning" space that's still visible to you and can be used side-by-side with all other calendars. Here's an example of how to use this method as a lesson planning space for teachers.
