Launch of the Compendium of Good Practices for Measuring Results in Counter-Terrorism and Preventing Countering Violent Extremism: A Joint UN-EU Publication
The side event, co-organized by the Resource Mobilization, Monitoring and Evaluation Working Group of the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Coordination Compact (UNOCT, UNODC, CTED and UNICRI), the European Union (EU), and the State of Qatar, will launch the “Compendium of Good Practices for Measuring Results in Counter-Terrorism and Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism: A Joint EU-UN Publication”. The Compendium provides good practices to support programme managers, evaluators and experts in Member States, the EU, the UN, and civil society organizations in measuring the results of CT/PCVE programming and initiatives. The side event will present the Compendium’s objectives, scope, conclusions, and applicability, showcasing illustrative case study examples from the UN, EU, and Member States, with a view to fostering collaboration and shared learning and expanding the Community of Practice on M&E for CT/PCVE. The side event will be held on 20 June 2023 from 8 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. EST, in Conference Room 11 at UN Headquarters in New York
