Selling your artwork, creating a website, getting a gallery exhibit, or winning prizes at juried exhibitions are often determined by the quality of your digital photographs and your ability to set up, light, crop and color correct the photographs of your artwork properly. It's also important to have good photographs for insurance, brochures, art postcards and press announcements. Let’s reduce the stress and learn from a professional. With limited lighting and any style of digital camera or cell phone, you can easily set up your 2-D and 3-D artwork to make photographs that provide richness of color, preserve texture and reproduce subtle or dark colors beautifully. This lecture and demonstration will explore camera settings, lighting set ups for different types of work, what to know about creating the right shooting environment, some computer software techniques. This workshop is designed for those with beginning or intermediate experience with photography.
