Thames Boat Trip, MV Golden Salamander.

Chiswick Pier Canoe Club has again teamed up with the classic Thames riverboat “Golden Salamander" to run a river trip for the club, adjacent clubs, coaches, families and friends.

Departing from Chiswick Pier, the Golden Salamander will take us on a return voyage along the River Thames, providing a rare view of the riversides between Chiswick Pier and The Tower of London.

The cruise leaves Chiswick Pier at 19.00 prompt, returning at approximately 23.00.

Sunset is 20.54 on Thursday 21st May 2026.

This provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the historic City of London buildings on the outward voyage and experience the transition to the golden lights of London reflected on the Thames for the return trip.

It's a wonderful opportunity to meet and chat to other club members, other clubs, family and friends. Whilst in the relaxed environment of a River Cruise from our home base.

FOOD - A pot mess Buffett will be organised by the club.

DRINKS - Full bar at normal London pub prices manned by the vessel crew.

PRICE - £25 per person (intent is to cover costs, possibly make some additional for club equipment but remain extremely reasonable).
