Schedule:
August 4: 3-5pm PDT
August 6: 3-5pm PDT
In this two-session workshop, August 4 & 6, the instructor will guide students through mixing acrylic colors using a minimal palette to gain a basic understanding of color theory. We will focus on color theory, go over paint application techniques and layering washes. The skills covered are great for altering surfaces inside and outside of books. Students will gain the groundwork and understanding to further develop their knowledge of color and painting skills beyond this course and leave with their own handmade samples to reference in the future.
