With Teamup, the calendar administrator can customize calendar access for each person or group, whether they have account-based access or link-based access. There are nine different permission levels available. You can assign the same permission level to all sub-calendars, or you can assign permissions separately for each sub-calendar.
The modify permission level allows a person to create, change, or delete events. So it is often used when you want people to be able to use the calendar and manage events.
But you may want people to only create or change their own events. There's a specific modify permission level for this scenario. You can apply this permission to selected sub-calendars or to all sub-calendars included in someone's access.
The modify-my-events (for account-based users) or modify-from-same-link (for shareable calendar links) permission gives limited modify ability.
If a user is given modify-my-events access they will be able to create, modify, or delete their own events, but they won't be able to make changes to any events created by other users.
