DESCRIPTION:
This webinar series will focus on systematic instruction which is a research-based method of teaching individuals with disabilities. The sessions will include looking at various prompting procedures to enhance instruction together with strategies of time delay to build both academic and functional skills.
Presenter: Dr. MaryAnn Demchak is a Professor of Special Education and Disability Studies in the College of Education at the University of Nevada, Reno. She specializes in the assessment of problem behaviors, behavior management, instruction for students with severe/multiple disabilities, and the application of applied behavior analysis within special education practice and research
