Electrification is the backbone of Norway’s energy transition. But how far can we go before we reach the limits?
At this year’s NTRANS Annual Conference, we bring together researchers, policymakers and industry leaders to explore how electrification is shaping the future of the Norwegian energy system, and what happens when networks, nature and politics set the boundaries for further growth.
Over two days, the conference will address key questions about capacity, coordination and trade-offs in the energy transition through presentations, panels and discussions.

Day 2 – Communication, synthesis and collaboration
Day 2 of the NTRANS Annual Conference is a hands-on, workshop-oriented day focused on communication, synthesis and shared understanding.
While Day 1 explores the big questions around electrification, Day 2 turns attention to how we connect our research, partners and findings across NTRANS.
This day invites researchers and partners to work together on:
• Identifying cross-cutting insights from ongoing projects
• Developing short communication pieces (one-pagers, synthesis notes)
• Exploring how NTRANS knowledge can inform policy and practice
• Preparing for upcoming arenas such as Energy Transition Week 2026 and Arendalsuka 2026
