Hevra Kadishah - Opportunities to Honor the Deceased
Judaism holds a sacred tradition of caring for a person's body between death and burial. We wash the body, say blessings, and sit with her to provide comfort. Together, we will experience an overview of these practices, known as taharah and shmirah. You will also have a chance to sign up for our hevra kadisha team, our group who will be on call for performing these rituals should the community ever need.
