In this workshop we will explore the sculptural possibilities of that humble material, paper. What is the history of paper sculpture, and how is the tradition being advanced today? We will use very basic materials and tools to transform flat, rigid material into exciting dimensional forms. We will learn to use basic tools, and even create a few special tools and learn specific sculpting techniques. We will push paper to its physical limits, and respect the beauty of its limitations.
