r3.0 Bioregional Open Dialogue 12: BioHubs Nourish Bioregional Metabolism
Metabolic Founding CEO Eva Gladek & Strategic Initiatives Coordinator Serena Joury will present on its new white paper, BioHubs: Infrastructure for Resilience and Regeneration, which proposes BioHubs as a means of intentionally anchoring place-based regeneration in physical sites to support bioregionalism as a return to place. The paper (to be released at the Katapult Future Fest in late May) provides 10 case studies on existing entities that fit the vision of BioHubs. Founding Director Thais Corral of Sinal do Vale in Brazil – one of the BioHubs profiled in the paper – will share on its work coordinating regeneration of 200,000-hectares in Recôncavo da Guanabara Bioregion.
The first half of the Session is devoted to speaker presentations, and the second half is dedicated to facilitated dialogue with all participants.
