Details: NTRANS and NTNU team society invite new PhD’s, post docs and other interested researchers to a webinar focusing on academic writing and academic publishing. The webinar especially targets researchers who are about to engage in these activities for the first time, but will also be of interest to more experienced researchers who are looking to reflect on their own practices.
The program will feature:
- Kirsten Jenkins: Is a lecturer in Energy, Environment and Society and the Programme Director for the Energy, Society and Sustainability MSc at the university of Edinburgh. She is also managing editor at the journal Energy research and social science, and in this webinar she will provide insights from behind the scenes of academic journal publishing.
- Lars Coenen: Professor Coenen is an economic geographer and scholar in innovation studies who focuses on sustainability transitions, currently based at western Norway university of applied science. He is the author of more than 65 scientific papers, and was recognized by web of science as one of the most cited scholars of 2020. Here Coenen will share insights from his extensive experience with writing and publishing academic work
- Tomas Moe Skjølsvold: Vice director of FME NTRANS, with an extensive publishing track-record in energy social science. Former editor of the Nordic journal of Science and Technology Studies.
