Using the framework of crisis, this presentation examines the impact of COVID-19 on the risk of violence in intimate relationships, as well as on community/societal efforts to address the problem. In response to the threat of increased violence, positive action has been taken. However, the likelihood of an improved post-crisis state for policies, programs, and services addressing partner violence is questioned in light of the growing focus on economic recovery.
