Chapter 296 has been offered the opportunity to host the "Reading of the Names" at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial on the grounds of the State Capitol for the observance of National POW/MIA Recognition Day.
We will be departing from the Piggly Wiggly in Vass at 3:30 PM on September 19, 2025 in route to the State Capital Building in Raleigh. We will stop briefly at the Kangaroo (north bound side) in Tramway to marry up with our Sanford contingency. We will depart there at 4:00 PM. This will allow for us to arrive around an hour in advance for set up. Click the link below for the proposed route:

We recommend that you park along New Bern Place where the reserved parking ends at 4:00 PM. (See red rectangle below.) The observance is held at the "Last Fire Fight" statue on the State Capital grounds. (See red circle below.)
