Bring a pen and an open heart … This creative writing workshop is designed for published authors as well as people who have an idea or a yearning to write but might never have picked up a pen. It can be used for a novel, memoir or for an adventure into a piece you don’t yet know.

Rahla Xenopoulos is the author of A Memoir of Love and Madness and the novels Bubbles, Tribe and The Season of Glass. She has had several stories published and has written for newspapers and magazines. She gives talks on mental health and empowerment and gives writing workshops to underprovided children. She also gives creative writing workshops in Stanford, South Africa, where she has worked with more than sixty writers, including both published ones and novices. And she is the mother of triplets. The Xenopouli live in New York.
The Talking Table is a place on the beautiful port village of Molyvos on the Greek island of Lesbos where people learn, eat and talk together. Hosted by two ex-corporate South Africans, guests participating in various workshops are welcomed with warmth and generosity and given a safe environment for their creativity to flourish. Hearty long-table meals of mostly Greek food are served, while good conversation is always on the menu. A number of workshops are held in South Africa during the autumn.
The fee of € 1 200 includes transfers to and from the ports*, breakfast and a long-table meal each day, course fee and art supplies. Accommodation and travel are excluded.
