Persian Poetry Reading Group
We are delighted to announce the relaunch of our Persian Poetry Reading Group. In an exciting new development, this year we are collaborating with Brown University in US. We shall meet on Zoom on alternate Mondays from 5-6pm GMT for four sessions of reading Persian poetry in the original, starting on January 24th.
The sessions are intended for those who have some knowledge of reading Persian, both students and others who simply wish to increase their knowledge of Persian poetry. They will be open to those who wish to participate in reading and translating, as well as those who would prefer to audit.
The reading group is convened by Dr Annabel Keeler (Affiliated Researcher at the University of Cambridge, Faculty of Asian & Middle Eastern Studies) and Dr Michelle Quay (Visiting Lecturer of Persian at Brown University, Center for Language Studies).
