Exploring Multiplication and Division
Participants will dig into research and big ideas through content deepening and explore the use of manipulatives through activities and problems involving equal-sized groups, arrays, and area models. Participants will analyze standards and assessment types to discover students' understanding and to better inform planning of instructional steps.
This will be part 1 of a 2 part series on developing multiplication and division in grades 3-5. Part 2 will be offered 02/26/2026.
Participants who attend both 3-5 Multiplication and Division trainings will be eligible to apply for 1 graduate credit hour offered through Northwest.
