User question: We would like to highlight certain calendar entries, is it possible to change the text color of specific events in a calendar?
It's not possible to change the text color or style for individual events. However, to make certain events stand out, you can use multiple sub-calendars and custom field emojis.
If you assign an event to multiple sub-calendars, it will be striped with the colors of the assigned calendars. The multi-color striping makes those events stand out. If the goal is to make certain events "pop" visually, use bright colors. For example, create a yellow Highlights sub-calendar and assign only the events you want to highlight. When the time frame has passed or you want to highlight different events, remove the old events and assign new ones.
Another way to add visual interest and make events stand out: emojis. Create a custom choice field and assign colorful emojis to each option. Set the emojis to show in event titles. Then assign the relevant options to each event you want to highlight.
Alternately, use unicode color blocks in the label for each option. Here's how. You can add multiple color blocks to each label for a row of color. Then set the option name to show in the event title.
