SCHEDULE
+Intro to Simple Machines: What is a lever? Demo + Video
+Build Phase — Students construct catapult base & arm
+Decorate — Customize catapult with colors, name, designs
+Launch Tournament — Test, adjust, measure distances, compete (Not really let's just have fun)!
+Debrief & Clean Up — What worked? What would you change?
Learning Objectives
Students practice problem-solving, iteration, and teamwork. Decorating the catapult reinforces that engineering and art live side by side — function and beauty are not opposites.
