If your calendar is shared to allow others to make appointments or bookings, here are some tips to encourage bookings only within the available/operating hours.
If operating hours are only Monday-Friday, you can hide weekends and display the calendar in a view that shows only weekdays.
The calendar administrator can hide weekends in Settings > Calendar Views > Hide Weekends.
Display or embed the calendar in Week view, Multi-week view, and Month view.
Note that this setting only applies to calendar views in a browser.
Adjust the visible time range displayed on your calendar to reflect your business operating hours, available appointment slots, booking hours, etc.
Calendar administrators can go to Settings > Date & Time > Time Range to update the visible time range on the calendar.
Note that events can still be created outside of the visible time range. However, having only certain hours displayed can discourage bookings outside of these hours.
Prevent bookings outside available hours
To prevent any bookings or appointments from being made outside of the displayed hours, try this method:
In the example above, the displayed hours have been adjusted (6am to 6pm) to display the Unavailable block neatly at the beginning and end of each day.
