Paper-engineered structures fall into two categories: pop-ups, where action happens as you turn the page; and movables, where action happens as you pull a tab or turn a disc. This one-day class introduces both at the primer level—we will explore a handful of foundational structures; discuss tools, materials and sources; practice technique; and create a book using a simple-yet-functional binding. If you are starting from scratch, this class is for you.
