How your Teamup user account is used for security and identity

Anyone can create a Teamup user account. Teamup user accounts are used to identify who you are for better security:
Secure, personalized calendar access: Think of your user account as an entrance made just for you. You go through that entrance to access all the calendars you have created or been given access to.
User profile: A user account is not shared; it's meant to be used by one person only: you! It’s bound to you through your primary email address (and any secondary emails you may have added) and has a customizable avatar.
Two-factor authentication: While not required, we highly recommend enabling two-factor authentication to keep your user account (and calendar data) more secure.
Tracked changes: When you create or update an event, your name is tracked and visible in the footer as the one who created the event or last modified it. Note: If you access a calendar via a shareable link, the name of the link will be displayed in the footer.
User management: Your name and email address is on the user list of any calendar that you have access to as an account user. This user list is in the calendar settings. The calendar administrator manages your access level, i.e. what you can see or do with that calendar.
