Include link or details for a non-mapped location

Perhaps you want to provide location information for an event, but the information isn't a mapped location. 

For example, you may want to provide a What3Words location, instructions on finding a certain suite in an office building, or details about parking options. 

You can easily do this with a single-line text field. 

1. Open Teamup in a browser. 
2. Go to Settings > Event Fields.
3. Click New Field (top right).
4. Enter a field name.
5. In the Type section, select Single-line text.
6. Configure other field options. Be sure to leave the map integration off.
     

How it works

For each event, add the link or note into this text field. 

For example, if you want to share a What3Words location: Paste the W3W link into the field. It will become an active hyperlink that users can click to open. 

Alternately, you can leave short notes in the single-line text field, such as "Park on the second level" or "Suite 2774 is on the 2nd floor, down the left hallway."
