Junior Carnival

UPDATE (Fri 12.30pm): Covid Management Plan APPROVED. The following are requirements:

• All attendees MUST register via this TryBooking link & have tickets scanned in on the day (all family members can register on same booking with separate tickets generated)

• Masks – for those 12+yrs other than when competing/on water safety duty with further clarification as:

  1. • Competitors = only require masks when moving between areas or moving out of the carnival arena (ie going to toilet). They do not need to wear them when waiting for races in an area (mask can be put in their bag once they arrive at their next competition area). This will avoid mixing up of masks between children & littering of masks over the beach.
     • Water safety personnel are NOT required to wear masks when undertaking water safety duty in the water.
     • Officials ARE required to wear masks – a Starter may temporarily remove it if their communication with children is being hampered
     • AGMs, Age group assistants, COVID marshals, work party, photographers & any other volunteers, as well as spectators 12+yrs MUST wear masks

It will be a FULL day carnival for all age groups (younger ones should finish earlier).
