For the second Bioregional Open Dialogue of the 2026 season, r3.0 integrates its Bioregional Carrying Capacities focus from 2025 into this series by exploring the “limits of limits.”
- Gaya Herrington, a new Steering Board member, will apply her research on the empirical accuracy of the 1972 Limits to Growth projections of “overshoot and collapse” to the context of bioregionalism.
- Indy Johar of Dark Matter Labs, discussing his recent essay reinterpreting the Planetary Boundaries concept by applying a “second order” lens considering the Boundaries as systemically entangled (instead of isolated parameters), and considering this in the bioregional context.
