(CANCLLED DUE TO WEATHER) Furgen 2026 Beach Trip

As chosen by the Furgen community, we will be doing Asbury Park this year on Saturday July 18th.
Summarized list of the day's events with appx start and end times.
10am: Meet at 101 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712 (The Corner of Asbury and Ocean) 10:15am: Head over to the new First Ave Restrooms to change into beach wear.
10:30am: Enter the beach between 1st and 2nd Ave.
12:30pm: Leave the beach.
12:45pm: Everybody is free to have their own adventures. If you still want to stick with me, this is what I plan to do:
Get Lunch
Silverball Arcade
Head to the Northern end of the Boardwalk with Loch Arbour.
Around 3:45 we all meet back at the Casino next to our initial meeting point.
We will then do a thing I will call: "Ocean Grove Trolling". We walk west along Beach Ave/Wesley Lake then cross back into Asbury Park. Why is it trolling? Ocean Grove's history is stepped in it being a Methodist meeting ground since the 1800's. Ironic since it is next to Asbury Park.
5:00pm: Meet Dismissed
Things to keep in mind:

Technically you are not allowed to change clothes in the town bathrooms. However on my scouting, I've seen people have their swim trunks draped across stall doors so hopefully nobody should raise a stink. There are no public bathhouse facilities in Asbury Park.

Beach admission will be $10 dollars. Cash will be the easiest payment method.
Fursuiting: Fullsuiting is discouraged. Partials encouraged for the “furwalk” portions of the trip. Be careful of sand damage while having suit parts on the beach. No guarantee inside areas like business will allow suiting. Play by ear and desuit if requested. Dunbrine will try to reach out to see if Silverball is cool at least.
