Design your own Halloween themed Jacob’s Ladder book! Jacob’s ladder books are similar to accordion books; they are long books without sewn pages. But when you hold them you can see they are quite different! Learn to make a book panels at ‘walk’ or “flow” down the the book as you move the cover back and forth. If you have never played with a Jacobs ladder before here is a video to give you and idea of how they move.
As a participant you will receive a package of pre-cut materials and a live, online class using Zoom. Your instructor, Ali Hansen, will guide you through the process of assembling your Halloween themed Jacob’s Ladder book and a folded box to hold it in! This class will specifically focus on assembling the moving mechanism for your book. Your pack will include fun extras to personalize your book. This is and adult class, but teens are welcome to join.
