Living With the Names of Allāh: A Journey of Healing and Wholeness

Assalamalaikum WRB,

As we enter a new Hijrī year, we are invited to begin with what matters most: deepening our relationship with Allāh.

Join us for a community program with Ustādha Dunia Shuaib exploring the Beautiful Names of Allāh through a psychospiritual lens. Our understanding of Allāh shapes the way we see ourselves, our struggles, our relationships, and the world around us. Many of us may know, intellectually, that Allāh is al-Raḥmān, al-Raḥīm, al-Wadūd, al-Shāfī, and so much more, yet our hearts may still struggle to feel His nearness, mercy, love, care, and protection in moments of difficulty, fear, guilt or uncertainty.

In this gathering, we will reflect on how the Beautiful Names of Allāh can help us move from simply knowing about Allāh to building a deeper, more secure, and healing relationship with Him. Through Qurʾānic reflection, Islamic teachings, and insights from Islamic psychology and contemporary psychology, we will explore how our perception of Allāh influences our sense of safety, self-worth, hope, trust, and resilience. Together, we will discuss how knowing Allāh by His Names can soften the heart, correct painful assumptions, nurture secure attachment to Allāh, and help us return to Him with greater love, hope, and confidence. This session is designed for anyone seeking spiritual renewal, emotional grounding, and a deeper connection with the One who knows us, sees us, sustains us, and never abandons us.

This program is open to the entire community, brothers and sisters are welcome. Open to families but this session is mainly for over 16yrs+

The event is complimentary and lunch will be served inshaAllah. Registration is required.
