Single Sheet Sewing is a modified Coptic stitch using multiple needles. Developed by Keith Smith, this versatile binding is a must for book artists because the open book lays completely flat. The separately sewn sheets allow full access to the entire page for drawing, mounting photography, postcards or art pieces. This binding can be used with various non-traditional materials such as wood, plastics or metal. The structure should be in every binder's repertoire.
