“NOU 2022:6. Grid on time: on the development of the power grid”:
The power grid committee was appointed to consider measures to reduce the time it takes to develop and license new grid facilities, look at the principles for safeguarding the socio-economic development of the power grid in a time of great uncertainty regarding consumption trends and assess possible improvements in the system with affiliation obligations.
Professor Mette Bjørndalen will present the process of developing the official report, Grid on time – on the development of the power grid (NOU 2022: 6). As well as some of the report's most important conclusions.
The proposed measures could collectively contribute to a significant boost to the grid development in Norway, by reducing the overall lead time for grid facilities, better utilization of the network, and improve the connection process.
