🖥️ Update: Set the default event duration to any amount

Calendar administrators can now set the default event duration to any number of minutes, rather than choosing from preselected intervals. Supported values are 5 to 600 minutes.

For organizations that work with specific time increments, this can be very helpful. For example, a Toastmasters group can schedule each speech session to be precisely 7 minutes; professionals who track billable hours in specific increments can adjust event duration accordingly.

How to set the default event duration: 

1. Open Teamup in a browser. 
2. Go to Settings > Date & Time.
3. Scroll to the Default Event Duration setting.  
4. Uncheck the Automatic box. 
   • Automatic event duration follows the calendar resolution. This is the default setting. Uncheck the Automatic box to manually set the default event duration. 
5. Use the arrows to set the number of minutes (minimum of 5, maximum of 600) or click your cursor into the duration field and type in the number of minutes. 
     
6. Your changes will be saved automatically.

Note: You can change the default event duration back and forth for more efficiency. For example, if you need to create a large number of 7-minute speaking slots or 20-minute meetings, switch to a manual event duration so it's faster to add these specific events to the calendar. Then switch back to automatic event duration once the events are created.
