Emphasis of this workshop will be on design, measurement, and sewing techniques and will progress from the most basic to more advanced patterns.
Note: All four variations will be sewn on board templates, not finished text blocks. To learn the other aspects of the Japanese stab binding (including text block and cover preparation, inner binding, corner pieces, etc.), please sign up for the Japanese Tortoise Shell Binding later in the day.
Students in this class will be provided with a descriptive handout and materials list in advance of the class to allow students to sew along with the instructor during the demonstration.
