Join the System Composter for a live conversation with Eva Schonveld, inviting an inquiry around the why and how of our prevalent politcal systems with their trauma-based, and profit-oriented structures. And the what and how of heart-centered, healthy paths and strategies forward. Are they needed? And who needs them?
Eva Schonveld is focused on systemic transformation, weaving inner work and interpersonal responsibility and agency at different times in her life through community art, the creation of spaces and processes for dialogue, the investigation of the strucure and processes that would allow us to live in a healthy, fair society. Eva works with the deep rooted changes we need to make as individuals, interpersonally and in our society, an interest rooted in many different experiences including a serious burnout and working with very vulnerable people. She brings awareness and process-development to both the what we do and how we do it. She co-founded Scotland’s first Transition Town and City, and worked to support the Transition movement across Scotland. She also co-founded Starter Culture, which is developing a range of projects to tackle the marginalisation of the inner dimension at different levels of scale, which also informed her current work, supporting more relational ways of doing politics in Scotland and beyond. She is at the heart of Heartpolitics, a project to address the interconnected social and environmental threats that arise from dividing humans from the wider ecology, and from dividing our minds from our hearts. From this rich soil has sprouted the fractal Grassroots to Global process which aims to connect open-hearted listening and creative culture re-design processes towards a global citizens assembly.
The intended flow will include about half an hour of open questions and discussion. You can submit questions in advance, or ask me anything regarding this session by email: dita.vizoso@gmail.com
