Please join us for two informal walks along the Lynn waterfront! Come and see what the site looks like now so we can discuss ideas for how to activate this part of the City.
During Site Walk #1 we will walk Riley Way (Hanson St.) along the waterfront. From there we can see the old landfill site and views of the harbor. For Site Walk #2 we will visit the Ferry Dock and future Ferry Terminal Site. We will then go over to Lynn Heritage State Park for the second part of the walk.
Site Walk Details:
Site Walk #1: Southern Portion of the Site (landfill and coastline).
Date: Wednesday, May 24th 2017 at 5:30pm (Rain Date: Thursday, May 25th at 5:30pm).
Take Hanson St. off of the Lynnway (between Walmart and the Lynnway Mart) and we will meet in the parking lot behind Walmart (13 Hanson St.).
Site Walk #2: Ferry Terminal and Lynn Heritage State Park.
Date: Tuesday, May 30th 2017, at 5:30pm (Rain Date: Wednesday, May 31st at 5:30pm).
Meet at the Ferry dock parking lot (End of Blossom Street) for the first part of the walk. We will then drive down to Lynn Heritage State Park at 6:00pm.
In case you cannot attend, please note that we will be reviewing everything from the walks at the next public meeting. Also, you will need your own transportation to attend these walks.
We look forward to seeing you there!
