The Paper Year Kickoff Event: A Brighter Year Ahead with Helen Hiebert (Online)

This one-hour mini workshop will take place in one week on Jan 3, 2021 at 2pm EST, 1pm CST, 12pm MST, 11am PST. During this hour-long event, I will show you how to create a pop-up lantern, and I will answer your questions about The Paper Year, my new online subscription club. Oh, and come meet The Paper Year’s four guest artists!
You should have received a Zoom link when you registered, and I’ll send you another reminder with the link the day before the event!
You will need the following supplies in order to make the lantern:
MATERIALS:
• 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 sheet of card stock (ideally grain short)
• 4-1/4 x 10-1/2 sturdy text weight translucent paper that folds well
• Small battery-operated tea light (max 1-1/2" diameter)
• White glue, glue stick, or 1/4" double-sided tape
TOOLS:
• Small drafting compass
• Pencil
• Ruler
• Cutting Mat
• Exacto knife
• Scissors
• Glue brush
• Bone folder (optional)
