Circling is a mindful relational practice and unique transformational modality. It is a dynamic group process that is parts art form, meditation, and group conversation. It is also can be practiced one-on-one. Although it is based on complex ideas, participating in it can be easy and fun for people at all levels of experience.
Using our genuine curiosity and present moment awareness to better understand another person’s world helps breaking through the assumptions and projections we have about each other.
For this weekend intensive me, Heinz Robert, have invited Kathryn Piper from Amsterdam and you can expect two intense days. As some regular Circling practitioners have experienced sometimes, the dynamic between the facilitators is influencing the dynamics in the space as much as every Individual participant is contributing to it.
Kathryn Piper and I have organized together Circling events in the Netherlands and UK, where we not only met in working mode but also created together a friendship of trust and holding each other accountable for each other’s personal development and our relations to others.
I experienced Kathryn as a creative force and sometimes woman that frightened me when her innermost fierceness showed her grimace. Frightened but not discouraged I like those challenges and we both have been inspired to lead this weekend together.
Kathryn Piper is a seasoned Circling leader with five years immersed in the practice of Circling and Surrendered Leadership. She loves co-creating workshops with leaders throughout Europe, as she is launching her new project, Starling Murmuration. She is frequently on the team for Circling Europe’s weekends and SAS training, as well as for Circling Nights in Amsterdam. She has been facilitating Circling online on Circle Anywhere since 2016. I really like her wakefulness and ruthless pointing out of unspoken or hidden things in the Circle.
Heinz Robert brought Circling 2014 to Switzerland and did his training with Circling Europe. Before he practiced Vajrayana Buddhism for 11 years and later led and supported groups and workshops in Transparent Communication for 4 years. Heinz is known for his calm and relaxed way to hold spaces of mutual trust. Currently he is writing his second book together with other authors about honesty and intimacy in organizations. He offers workshops and coaching to discover potentials in gender-based disputes. More infos at heinzrobert.com and circling.ch.
