Sriracha Chili Grinding Open House Reservations Begin
Call to make reservations starting today for the open house that usually happens the last weekend of September. The number is 626-286-8328. We went last year - it was hot, hot, hot out in Irwindale. The tour is self guided and you will be coughing (for just a little bit) when you walk into the factory if they are unloading any chilies.
You can't beat the swag they give out - bag, t-shirt, 2 - 3 good sized free samples, all the sriracha ice cream you can eat and as many different samples made from their products. The gift shop has a tiny sriracha dispenser that you can hang on your key chain so you never have to be without your sriracha.
Since it is the year of the rooster and their logo is a rooster I wonder what amazing things they will have in store for the public. We had a lion dancer follow us around the factory - maybe this year I will remember to bring a red packet filled with money to "feed" the lion!
