I am delighted to invite you to a bookart workshop, mapping and exploring, at the Lloyd Hotel, Amsterdam. Adventure along canals, and the best paper places in the city. We have an enormous workspace to spread out and develop ideas: Join us for five days of creation and discovery, charting and making! Take away map-fold books filled with personal paper navigations, in ink, paint, collage or text. G

Amsterdam is my favourite city to wander around; on foot, by boat, or on wheels, admiring and responding to its style, design and history. I will share my top papery bookish places and teach you how to make your own unique paperworks.

We’ll navigate the canals on our own exclusive boat, explore stationery emporiums, quirky bookshops and a library with a view.
All basic materials, five days tuition, coffee/tea, biscuits, library visit, unconfirmed jaunts AND an exclusive two hour boat trip around the canals is included in the fee.
Travel, insurance, accommodation, tram tickets and meals are not included.

Meet at the Lloyd Hotel on 6th September for a welcome drink and brief introduction. The workshop starts on Thursday 7th at 10am, finishing on Monday afternoon at 4pm.
