In this 4 day class you will learn how to make a beautiful nuno collage Cowl Neck Poncho. Learn the fundamentals of Seamless Felting along with making inserts or godets. You will be making a sandwich of silk/wool/silk with very little wool which you can wear in many ways! Not only is it reversible from inside to out, front to back, side to side but that beautiful cowl neck can be worn up as a collar. You will also be learning how to calculate your shrinkage percentages when we make our sample.
Experience Level: Some Nuno Felting Experience Required.
Jean Gauger creates unique art-to-wear nuno pieces as well as home decor, journals, and framed art. Originally a knitter, she discovered wet and nuno felting and has been hooked ever since! Jean teaches and shares throughout the United States, Canada and Australia. Her work has been on exhibit at the Kent State University. An Honoree award recipient for 2015 and 2016 at the Textile Art Alliance of the Cleveland Museum of Art Wearable Art Fashion Show.
