In this workshop we will cover the techniques listed below and will finish with an 8-fold book. The letterpress text for it will be set up ahead of time and will incorporates two or three of these techniques.

Workshop fee: $75 for GBW members and $100 for non-members
Material fee: $20 paid separately to instructor at the workshop.
Instructor Jocelyn Pedersen is a Los Angeles based artist and fine press printer. She currently teaches courses in Typography/Letterpress Printing and Hand Printed Book Production at Occidental College. She holds a graduate degree in the Book Arts from the University of Iowa, Center for the Book and a Master of Fine Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara. She was awarded the first Victor Hammer Teaching Fellowship at Wells College and helped to set up the Book Arts Center there. She has taught Book Arts at the college level since 1996, but also enjoys leading bookmaking/literacy building workshops to young students. Her work is in the collections of the Library of Congress, the New York Public Library, Yale, Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, UCLA and more.
